Guest Design for Cut it Up Challenge #343 - Favourite Colour

Hi everyone, I was invited to be a guest designer at Cut it Up when I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the top picks in Challenge #336 .

I love die cutting so this challenge is so much fun! Thankyou to the team for inviting me along to play again.

The theme for this challenge is to use your favourite colour.
I have a few but decided on pink for this card.

I diecut a rectangle of designer paper and added my dreamcatcher cut from white glitter card. It's layered up for dimension,
I embossed the background with a 3D folder called painted texture, I think it suits the dp.
I added some bling from my stash and a sentiment sticker.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Dragonfly Dreams, feminine.

The Neglected Stuff Challenge, bling is my sadly neglected item on this card.

Allsorts, playing along with the anything goes option.

Supplies;

Use Christmas supplies for Seize the Birthday-action wobbler!

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Ashwini wants us to get into birthday mode using our Christmas supplies!

Or play along with our anything goes birthday theme and build up your stash that way.

Our party guests Johanna and Liz, along with my team mates have some great inspiration for you, and this is our last challenge for this year, so I hope you can play along.

I had fun creating this reindeer with his party gear! He's also on an action wobbler so he shakes and wobbles, need to stop playing with it lol! Pity I can't show you.

Not sure of the reindeer brand but I pieced him together then added a party hat from a dimensional sticker pack By Jolee that I've had in my stash for many years!
I diecut some sparkly confetti for his antlers and a scarf from some designer paper.

I embossed the base then added a top layer with a circle diecut. I lay that on top of the base and embossed it again so that the tree images all matched up. I coloured a circle on the base with some white gold metallique wax, it's nice and shiny IRL.

The sentiment is clear embossed for some more shine and the reindeer was mounted on his wobbler!

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Allsorts, playing along with the anything goes option.

Can You Handle the Pressure, playing along with the anything goes option.

Giraffes for a Baby Boy

Hi everyone, it's starting to rain again (we need it!) so I'm staying in the craft room for a bit longer!
Some colleagues are expecting soon, so I thought I'd get some baby cards done.

I love giraffes and thought this mother and baby would be perfect, they are from a layering set by Altenew.
I used kraft card for the top layers and added shading with distress inks in antique linen, tea dye and brushed corduroy. The base layer is a chocolate brown.

I used a 3D leafy embossing folder as a background. The sentiment is layered up for dimension.

Musical Birthday

Hi everyone, I was asked to make a large masculine style card for a music lover's birthday.
I came up with this 5x7 design and they seemed to like it.

The top layer was diecut with a piercing layers die, inked up with some oxide inks in blue, then embossed with a really old Spellbinders music folder. I swiped some white pigment ink over the raised areas for some definition.

I used some black gloss card for the musical notes and silver metallic card for the sentiment and name.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday, add some texture.

Autumn Thank You

Hi everyone, I have been playing with mica distress sprays again, they are addictive once you start!
We don't really have a defined Autumn in my area, no colourful trees or pumpkin harvests!
So I thought if I sprayed some suitable colours and embossed the panel with a 3D leaf folder it might suit the season.

I diecut and shaped some tiny maple leaves to highlight the sentiment.
So shimmery in real life!

I'm linking up to these challenges:

I'm playing along with the middle row; thanks, free and kraft.

Our party guest Johanna and Stephanie along with my team mates have some great inspiration for you, so hope to see you in the gallery.

I think hot chocolate would be my favourite treat when the weather starts to cool down!
These little coffee pots, teapots and cups were in my stash and I thought they could represent hot drinks.

I coloured some card with "Autumnish" shades of lunar paste and diecut them from those.
Love the shimmer and shine. Here's a closer look.
