Plan B!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are faring well wherever you are in these difficult times!

My craft room is still a work in progress, and while sorting through some boxes I found some goodies that had arrived that I'd forgotten about, this sentiment was one of them. Seems an apt one for these times!

I sponged some oxide inks onto watercolour paper and spritzed with water, then stamped the bubbles and sentiment. The goldfish was from my stash of critters. I love the look on it's face lol!

Birthday fairy!

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Vicki has chosen the theme a touch of green!

Of course if green isn't your colour then you can play along with anything goes as long as it's a birthday theme. Our party guest and design team have lots of ideas to inspire you!

This is a background from my stash, I'm still not back in my craft room although the walls are now being painted!
I can't remember what I used to colour it although it looks a bit like gelatos and I've sprayed it with perfect pearls for some shimmer. I used my misti to stamp this Lavinia fairy onto it.
I've collected a few Lavinia stamps and really need to use them more!

Wisdom and age!

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at CAS Stencil and Viv has chosen heat embossing as the  theme. There are some video tutorials on the blog to help if this is a new technique for you, and the design team has lots of ideas for inspiration!

I placed this stencil by Funky Fossil on my card stock then used a small versamark inkpad to ink through it. Next I sprinkled on some Wow perissa embossing powder on, tapped off the excess and used a heat gun to heat it up.

I hadn't used this powder before, love the coppery colour and it's a bit texturey like frantage. There are some other colours in there too, silver and gold.
Here's a closer look.

This crazy bird was stamped and clear embossed on watercolour paper, fussy cut and coloured with  Inktense pencils.

The sentiment is a new one, for me anyway. There are some really cheeky ones in the set!
