Tree tag on embossed woodgrain background

Hi everyone, I've been playing with frantage embossing enamel again, it's such great fun!

Cuttlebug Mania has an embossing theme. I've used Papertrey Ink's woodgrain texture plate to emboss my background. I love the softer look texture plates give over regular embossing folders.

Gold embossed vellum flowers

Hi everyone, I tried a new technique (for me) on these flowers, colouring the vellum on the back with alcohol markers. I love the soft look it gives.
I also fussy cut a white flower to sit under each coloured bloom as I didn't want the greenery to show through the top layer.

I'm linking up to a few challenges:

Addicted to Stamps & More has a CAS theme.

 CAS Mix up Card Challenge.
I've heat embossed the stamped flowers, used fussy cutting, dry embossing, and die cutting.

Allsorts are celebrating their 7th birthday with a birthday theme. Congratulations!

Embossed butterflies & a stencil.

Hi everyone, I'm not sure where the last few weeks went !
There's been quite a few things to deal with so sadly I've not had the time or energy to make cards.
Hopefully I'm back on track now.

This background has been sitting on my desk for ages. I sprayed Hueys mists and Goosebumps through a stencil. The Goosebumps spray gives a lovely texture and resists the ink, bit hard to see in the pic though.

The butterflies are from  Darkroom Door set that I've had for ages too, although I'd never used this one. I used Versafine ink, clear embossed them, then coloured with Inktense pencils.

I'm linking up to a few challenges:

Anything but Cute are celebrating their 1st anniversary. Congratulations!
Mixed media is not my usual style but I'm incorporating elements of it into my clean and layered style and trying to mix it up!. I love playing with inks and trying new techniques.

Embossed Floral tag

Hi everyone, it's Mother's Day here on Sunday so I'm looking forward to a day of relaxing, doing whatever I want! (We'll see what happens lol)

I stamped 2 of these Penny Black flowers, fussy cut the centre from one and popped it up on the other to add dimension. I coloured them with a deep rose inktense pencil.
The texture on the base card was done with a Papertrey Ink impression plate. I think the sandwich in my Bigshot Plus was wrong but I love the subtle effect.

I'm linking up to the anything goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday.

Birthday stars

Hi everyone, I need some masculine birthday cards, so I'm using up some watercoloured paper smooshed through some diluted dylusions ink, along with a new toy, the starlit breeze die.

I've diecut some stars from scraps of silver shimmer paper to pop back in to the panel, and my happy diecut looks silvery and black thanks to some aged black frantage enamel.

I'm linking up to Simon Says Stamp Monday where the theme is to use some metal,
I hope the silver paper and frantage enamel are ok as faux metal.
