Hi again, today is the first day I've felt a bit chilly this autumn! It's trying to rain outside and we desperately need it so hopefully it'll be a wet evening.
I had a scrap of stencilled card left over that needed to be used up. I'd used glass bead glitter gel through a dots fade stencil. This dot matrix embossing folder is a good match for it I think.
I coloured the panel with spun sugar and tattered rose distress inks. The butterfly is coloured with burnt orange, red oxide and baked earth Inktense pencils.
I'm linking up to a few challenges:
Fantasy Stampers has a monochrome theme.
I used Indigo Blu's dinkie Flutterby butterfly stamp with versafine ink and clear ep.
Addicted to Stamps & More has a photo for inspiration .
Simon Says Stamp Monday has a butterfly beauty theme.
At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday it's make it girlie.
CAS Mix up card challenge has stencilling as it's compulsory element along with stamping and ink. I've also used dry embossing, fussy cutting (the butterfly) and gel paste.
Supplies:
Indigo Blu dinkie flutterby stamp; versafine ink & clear ep; Sizix dot matrix embossing folder; Tim Holtz dot fade layering stencil; glass bead glitter gel; distress inks; Inktense pencils; Simon Says Stamp Mum die.
Thanks for visiting,
