Blue-green and gold butterfly panel

I'm back again with another butterfly!
We've had so many in our backyard lately! They seem to go crazy for the flowers on one of the "weeds" we have growing.

I'm linking up to the following challenges:

The Hero Club Blog where it's a nature theme.
You also need to use a Hero Arts product.

Less is More has a wings theme.
(I hope this clean and layered style is still CAS enough, please let me know if it's not.)
We'd love you to display our banner

Seize the Birthday has a hearts and arrows option, or as I'm doing, it's anything goes birthday.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge has an add texture theme.

Blue green butterfly

Hi, it's been a wet weekend so far here,
although thankfully we've not had the terrible cyclonic conditions that are happening in the north of Australia. I hope all of those affected by the storms and floods are doing ok and that life gets back to normal as soon as possible for you.

I was inspired by a few challenges to make this card.
At CASology the theme is monochrome.
I painted the butterfly with a twinkling H2O colour called mystique, its a bluey green that washes out to a light green when you add more water.

At Addicted to Stamps & More the theme is to make your mark using pens, pencils, markers, paint etc.

The Hero Club Blog has a nature challenge. I've used my favourite Hero Arts butterfly from the antique engravings stamp set.

At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge the theme is to add a little texture.
I've embossed the background with a tiny bubbles folder and layered a few of the diecut hellos to add dimension and texture.

Happy Little Stampers has an embossing theme this month.
As well as embossing the background, the butterfly is embossed with clear powder.

Pink & red with love

Hi everyone, life has been so hectic lately that there hasn't been much time for card making.
Hopefully things will settle down soon though.

I was inspired to make this card by the pink and red colour challenge
I hadn't used this striped textured cardstock before and thought the pink striped ribbon would suit it. I've got a drawer full of ribbons and should really try and use them!

I punched the hearts from scraps of card after embossing some of them with swiss dots.
I'm also linking up to the snippets playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

At CASology the theme is love.

Supplies:
Heart punches; swiss dots embossing folder; ribbon; bling; foam tape and sentiment sticker.

(Hubby & I don't celebrate V Day as so I don't use that sentiment!)

At Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge the theme is H is for, hearts in this instance!

Purple birthday butterfly

Hi again, I stamped and painted a few of these butterflies towards the end of my holidays and now just need to make up some cards.

I'm linking up to the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday where the theme is the letter H.
I tried inking this butterfly without heat embossing and didn't like it. The black needed to be shiny, so my H is for heat embossing and it's painted with twinkling H20's.
