Red & Green floral tag

It's stormy outside at the moment so I'm hoping our power doesn't go off! We do need the rain though.

I'm linking up to the challenge at Scrapbook Boutique where they have this gorgeous inspiration pic.
I was inspired by the red and green but needed a birthday card rather than a christmas card.

Enter Our Challenge - starts 10th each month

My flowers are punched from scarps of red card so I'm also visiting the snippets playground at

Pixies Crafty Workshop

Embossed flourish tag

I've used up the last of my flower shop stash so will have to stamp and fussy cut some more!

The challenge at Cuttlebug Mania is embossing and to use a manual machine.
This folder is flourish by Kaisercraft. It leaves a  deep impression and only just seemed to fit through my cuttlebug with the normal embossing sandwich. I've used a couple of distress inks to highlight the details.

Floral anniversary tag

Hi everyone, I'm using up images and diecuts from my stash.
I love fussy cutting so usually stamp lots of flowers and butterflies and put them aside
 to use later.

At Addicted to CAS the code word is dimension.
I've added dimension by using a white layer and a vellum layer for the flowers and popping them up on foam tape. I've also glued the flourish diecut to add dimension to the tag, and shaped the small punched flowers with a stylus.

At Addicted to Stamps & More it's an anything goes theme.

GRAB OUR BADGE!

At Allsorts the challenge is to use 3 or more diecuts.
I've used 2 different tag dies and a flourish die.

Crackled Christmas Ornaments

I bought some picket fence distress crackle paint ages ago and decided to have a practice on some diecut ornaments. I used scraps of black cardstock so that shows through the crackles. After colouring with some distress inks I coated them with glossy accents for a bit of shine.

At Allsorts the challenge is to use at least three diecuts.
I've used the Brittany ornament base, the star from the Avondale ornament and woodland branch dies.

At Simon Says Stamp Wednesday the theme is Christmas.

Hi everyone, I've had this butterfly sitting on my desk for ages and finally got it onto a card today.
Life is pretty hectic at the moment so I'm enjoying a rare day in the craft room!

The challenge at Seize the Birthday has an optional twist of using acetate or vellum.
I've used vellum flourishes to soften the embossed background.

Alcohol ink numbers

I was asked to make a card for a 22 year old male that liked skateboarding,
so I hope he liked it!

The board is by Jolees popped up with foam squares.
I diecut the numbers from silver metal sheets and coloured them with alcohol inks, then painted a thin layer of glossy accents on top to help stop the colour scratching off.

I'm linking up to these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Monday has a challenge to use the letter N.
I've gone with N for numbers.
