Hi, I made another sunset card with distress inks on watercolor paper. This time I used a green base card and I think it looks more like sunrise!
I like the proportions in this card better too, as it's a landscape orientation and I tried to follow the rule of thirds a bit better!
I'm going to link up with the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays, where it's a colour challenge, aqua, green and orange.
I'm also putting another entry into the Masculine/ Father's Day challenge at Inspired by Stamping.
At Crazy for CAS, the challenge is to use wet or dry embossing. I embossed my trees with clear powder.
Materials used: Stampin Up Lovely as a Tree stamp; Versafine ink and clear embossing powder; distress inks; sentiment sticker from stash.
Thanks for visiting :)

Verrry nice - way brighter than the previous and the green base does look good !! Mxx
I love this stamp set (one of my favorites in my collection). Love the card you have created, and the sunrise effect is great! :)

Gorgeous background for the trees, it's great ! Shirleyx
Love the colors you chose for your sponging, and it really does glow like a sunset. The background paper really makes a difference as to how your sponged colors work, doesn't it? Really like this one, and your stamped embossed image is fantastic with the glowing sun behind the tree! Good job! TFS
Gorgeous sunrise scene Cathy. Beautiful colors and I like it on the green card base. Loll xx
Sunrise or sunset, LOVE it.
Such a beautiful scene! Thank you for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
wow, this is gorgeous!

Wow, Cathy, this is brilliant, literally! I agree that it looks more like a sunrise which is even more spectacular and unique because the "normal" scene is a sunset. I love it!!
Beautiful card. Thank you for joining Crazy for CAS challenges.
