Just a note...

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use some of my stash that has been neglected since I bought it!
In 2021 I'm hoping to use what I have and only buy the odd crafty supply, wish me luck lol!

Since the sax player is being inked for the first time, I'm linking up to the challenge at
The Paper Players where LeAnne's theme is to use something new.

At Cardz 4 Guyz the theme is black and silver or black and gold.

At Inkspirational the theme is something in your home.
One of my son's friends has left some gear here until he can get back to collect it, and there's a saxophone!

I'm also linking to the Stamplorations Stencil Challenge, the stars are stencilled using gold ink and a design from Funky Fossil.

Supplies:
Visible Image Jazz it up stamp; versafine clair nocturne ink; Funky Fossil star stencil; Encore metallic gold ink; Paper Smooches sentiment sampler stamp; versafine clair ink & clear ep; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Oh Blimey Cathy, good luck with resisting new stash. I love seeing masculine cards and this is great especially with the splash of gold for the stars to lift the silhouette x

How I empathise with the idea of using up stash and not buying more.... I have so much unused stuff here it's ridiculous.
Wish I had this set though Cathy! Love the sax man - great card! x

A perfect sentiment for this card. Using your stash is a great idea. I used all my stash and pattern papers making Christmas cards this year and it felt so good. All the older products need love too.

This is a super masculine card Cathy and love that sax player and the white spattering looks great over the black silhouette, also the gold stars in that pretty drift. x

What a wonderful stamp, Cathy! Love the musical stars that are coming out of this saxophone! I need to use what I have and not buy any more, myself. We'll see how long that lasts!

I love your card. My son plays sax. Which set are the stars from? That really makes the card look great!

This is just fabulous! When I was young and in band (maybe 8th grade), the boy behind me played saxophone and I was IN LOVE with him!! LOL! So this has a special place in my heart! A wonderful image and I love the gold stars...just a stand out creation! Thanks for playing with my "new" Paper Players challenge!

Hi Therese, I couldn't find your email address and can't see where in this new blogger to reply to you! Anyway, the stars are stencilled with a Funky Fossil design :) Cathy x

LOVE that sax player ... so cool! And having the music be stars is so creative and fun. Great card Cathy! Good luck with using your stash and not buying much. We all have so much that we should be able to last a year, but I am enabled so easily by others. :) xx

Your card is VERY snowy Cathy! I can just feel the chill the fun guy is feeling even though he's all wrapped up in his scarf! A great card! xx
