Seascape & Magicals Leftovers

Hi again, I had a background strip leftover from my previous card,
and  it was wide enough to use here.

I had stamped the seashell background onto Bristol smooth card, inked with Versamark and embossed with white fine detail ep. I sprinkled on some Magicals in blues, teal and lime, spritzed with water, and moved the colour around with a paintbrush. The shimmer is lovely IRL.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

The Sisterhood of Crafters, fish, sea creatures.
Supplies:
Whimsy Stamps seashell background stamp; Versamark ink & Wow fine detail white ep; Lindy's Magicals; sentiment sticker .

Seascape watercoloured with Magicals

Hi everyone, it's been ages since I played with Lindy's Magicals.
This Whimsy stamp has been in my stash for a long time too and this is it's first outing.

I stamped the image in versamark and embossed with white fine detail powder. I sprinkled on some magicals in a few teal, blue and lime colours, spritzed on water and moved them a bit with a paintbrush.

Here's a closer look at the shimmer, (still a bit hard to see but so pretty IRL).

I diecut the sentiment from blue metallic card and layered it up for some dimension.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Alphabet Challenge, E for embossing wet or dry
I've chosen wet embossing.

Dragonfly Dreams, masculine

Moving Along With the Times, Use your favourite stamp die or tool.
My fave tool is my misti, I had to stamp this background twice for good ink coverage, and there's no way I could have done that without it!

Blue, Pink & Yellow for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Barbara has a colour challenge for us this round.

Or add to your birthday stash with our anything birthday option.

Our party guest Kathy and my team mates have some great inspiration for you so I hope you can play along.

I've had this cover plate for a while, and it was next on my hit list to play with!
It's an American size cover plate so I need to rejig my brain with measurements for the card base as I'm used to Australian sizes.

I inked up some strips of card with oxide inks and spritzed them with some sparkle shimmer craft spray, so pretty IRL!  I stacked a white and black layer from the cover plate with a slight offset to give a bit of a shadow outline.

The party hats are coloured with Chameleion pens. (Some slightly bigger ones would have been good but I'm not buying more stuff lol!)

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Supplies:
Whimsy Stamps happy birthday coverplate die; Oxide inks in picked raspberry; squeezed lemonade and salty ocean; Imagine sheer shimmer spray-sparkle; Lawn Fawn all the party hats stamp & die; chameleon alcohol pens.

Thanks for visiting and have a great week,

Use vellum or acetate for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Ashwini wants to see us use vellum or acetate on our birthday cards for this fortnight.

Or play along with our anything goes birthday option.

Our party guests Kathy and Kerry, along with my team mates have some great ideas to inspire you, so I hope you can join us in the gallery.

I've had these goodies in my stash for ages and since I'm trying to use everything (at least once!!) I thought I'd try acetate in the glasses.

Here's a closer look. I cut a piece of acetate to fit the larger frames.

The frames are dicut from metallic card and the birthday diecut from glossy black card, layered up for dimension.
I masked a Penny Black stamp for the word spectacular and used a tiny Lawn Fawn sentiment as well.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Aud Sentiments, playing along with the birthdays option

Supplies: Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle and birthday girl dies; unknown brand glasses dies;  Penny Black perspective stamp; Lawn Fawn reveal wheel holiday sentiments stamp; verafine clair inks & clear ep; metallic cardstock.

Thanks for visiting and have a great week,
