Hi everyone,
I was asked to make a card for a guy who lives on a farm and loves tinkering with his old tractors!
I'm CASEing one that I made a few years ago for a 16 year old tractor lover.
Guess it goes with living in a rural area!
The tractor was diecut from some glossy green card and I added some yellow to mimic the John Deere brand.
The background is a blended mix of bundled sage, peeled paint and rustic wilderness oxide inks
The sentiment was embossed with versamark and black sparkle embossing powder.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Around here tractors are a bit of a go to vehicle lol!
Supplies:
Tractor die (unknown brand); Simon Says Stamp happy birthday die; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; distress oxide ink; versamark ink & Ranger black sparkle embossing powder; happy sticker.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Fabulous card Cathy, super tractor and I love the ombré background. xx
Love this Cathy! That tractor and the greens are perfect for a farming friend. Thanks for sharing with us at TicTacToe Challenge this week!
A brilliant card Cathy!
That background looks wonderful in shades of green giving this ombre look Cathy and the shiny green tractor with the bright yellow wheels looks great..love the black sparkly sentiment too. x
This is great for someone who loves tractors. This is a perfect card for him. I love the shine and sparkle on the birthday and it is a fun font. The sponging colors are perfect for the theme.
Spectacular card! I’m from Alberta, Canada, we see John Deere tractors just about everywhere. Love your blended monochromatic background! I didn’t realize your sentiment was embossed, it looks like a “stacked up for dimension” die cut. So glad you played with the Krafty Chicks Challenge this week.
