Retro for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Jules has chosen a retro theme for this fortnight.

Or, you can add to your stash with our anything goes birthday option.

Our party guest Karen and my team mates have some great inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.

I still have my LP collection, and a record player, although it's ages since I used them!
So I thought that would fit as a retro item.

The stamp and die are from MFT .
The record is diecut from glossy black card and the centre is cut from a leftover scrap of alcohol inked yupo.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Addicted to Stamps & More, I've used diecuts

Krafty Chicks, all occasions

Supplies:
MFT Turntable die and For the Record stamp; alcohol ink and silver scraps; versafine clair nocturne ink & clear ep; Simon Says Stamp glossy black cardstock;
Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

So cool that you still have a turn table. Awesome job with the Topping.

A really cool retro card! I wish that I still have my turntable and records to use. It was an era!

Perfect retro card. Love how you created it. I have a few of the old LPs also, but no record player. :(

I still have my 33 1/3 and 45 collections and many of those LPs adorn my craft room wall. LOL!!! This is just perfect. Love!

Cathy, another fond memory from the 60's & 70's. The retro record player was always a favorite of mine. I loved to listen to music. Have a great week.

What a great card, Cathy. I love records and although streaming is convenient you can't beat pulling a record from the cover and getting the needle in the groove! I love how you used the shiny card to get a realistic look.
Thanks for sharing with us at ATSM.

Perfect retro card, Cathy! We got rid of our record player years ago but hung on to the vinyls, eventually giving them to the jumble sale weeks before our son announced he was starting to collect vinyl 🙄🫣

Love love love this! Haven't had a record player since I was a kid but I'm a music lover so this puts a smile on my face. Love the glossy 'vinyl' and the alcohol ink rink. Wonderful card.
