Fruit for Seize the Birthday - with twinkling H2Os!

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Colleen has chosen fruit as our theme for this turn.

Or you can play along with our anything goes birthday option.

Our party guests are Julia and Fran, and they along with my team mates have some wonderful inspiration for you, so I hope to see you in the gallery.

I don't have many fruit images or dies, just a couple of blueberry ones as my son is one of the managers at a blueberry farm!

I hadn't used this die before, and used purple, blue and green twinkling H2Os to colour them.
I'd forgotten how shimmery these are! So glad that they are one product that doesn't seem to deteriorate with time (many years!!)

Here's a closer look at the shimmer.

I even made a more CAS version!

The diecut sentiment was inked with versamark and embossed with Lindy's midnight violet powder, although it looks black in the pic.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Mix it Up Challenge, playing along with the anything goes option.

Unicorn Challenge, not square

Supplies:
Dies: Scrapman blueberries; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle; Creative Expressions stacked happy birthday.
Other: Twinkling H2Os wild plum, stargazer and olive vine; Stampin Up berry blessings sentiment; versafine nocturne ink & clear ep; versamark ink & Lindy's midnight violet ep.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Oh how wonderful to see blueberries as the fruit Kathy! I can't say I have ever seen a stamp or die for them!?! What a great die and beautiful coloring with your shimmery H2Os and I love the thickness of your embossed Happy Birthday! AND you made a two-fer! Julia xx

I could manage a blueberry farm as I just ate about a 1/4 pint moments ago. LOL I love that Happy Birthday script as well. Making it shine was a wonderful idea. I love the direction you went and I love both of these cards! Take care!

What a great idea to use your twinkling H2Os to color these fat blueberries, Cathy! And I love how you schparkled the sediments, too, with the Lindy's! Both versions are so pretty and pristine! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

Blueberries are a stable in our house and to manage one would be a dream for my hubby! You really created a knockout card here and I can see the shimmer. And you made two cards, you are an over achiever! This one should go to your son on his next birthday!

Both cards are beautiful using this pretty blueberry die and coloured so prettily with the Twinkling H2Os Cathy, and the deep violet EP looks fabulous on the die cut and stamped sentiment on each too. x
