Hi everyone, it's my son Nat's birthday today and since he's always been a bug lover, I made him a bug card! He likes it, even though he's in his 30's :)
I sprayed the background with mica spray stains in specimen, decayed, burning ember and frozen fog.
I thought they looked a bit like metallic bug colours.
The stamps are from a set by Craft Consortium. The versafine nocturne doesn't stamp very dark on the sprays, even when embossed.
The sentiment is double layered for dimension and the top layer is black mirror card.

I always struggle with masculine cards but you have really nailed it with this one, Cathy. I love your use of the mica sprays and the shiny sentiment finishes it off beautifully.
