Snowflake Ornament

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at CAS Christmas and it was my turn to choose the theme, decorations.

My team mates and our guest Lucie have some wonderful inspiration for you so I hope you can play along.

This is a new to me snowflake die from Sizzix. It's larger than any I have so perfect for hanging on a Christmas tree!
I diecut it from white card, inked it with versamark ink and sprinkled on silent night embossing powder.

Here's a closer look at the sparkle.

(I've popped it up on small foam dots which could be carefully removed so that you can hang this on a tree.)

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Dies R Us, anything goes. I've used a Sizzix die.

Unicorn Challenge Blog, anything goes

Supplies:
Sizzix Flurry #3 die; versamark ink; Wow silent night embossing powder; Stampin Up sentiment (retired) versafine clair ink and clear ep; silver cord from stash.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

What a gorgeous sparkly snowflake, Cathy! You caught the beautiful shine in the close-up so well. You also did a great job of heat-embossing the very delicate die-cut. Thank you for hosting this fun challenge!

Gorgeous snowflake die, Cathy. Love the silent night embossing powder ... the colour is beautiful. Great idea to have it temporarily attached to the card so that you can easily remove and place on your tree. Thanks for hosting this fun challenge! xx

What a great idea to make an ornament that can be removed from the card and hung on the recipient's tree! It's beautifully done in that lovely embossing powder.
