Birthday in greens.

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and TaeEun has chosen monochromatic as the theme.

Monochromatic colour schemes aren't my strong point and I've added a tiny bit of gold foil and a gold mat to my card, along with white and black, so if this isn't strictly monochromatic, then it's OK as you can always play along with the anything goes birthday option.

The Design team and our birthday guest have some wonderful cards to inspire you, so I hope you can play along.

I'm linking up to some challenges:
Watercooler Wednesday,

Stamplorations CAS Challenge without the colour twist.

Supplies:
Poppystamps Hampstead bloom die; yupo paper; alcohol inks in green; sentiment sticker.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

This background is so pretty Cathy and I adore the white die cut flower which contrasts beautifully and the mats and complementary black sentiment go perfectly. A brilliant card! x

I love green it is my favourite colour and your sensational background has me drooling! love it. Did you know that green and gold are the same colour family? So your card is monochromatic really is you think of the black as very very dark green and the white a a very light shade! hahaha. x

I think gold belongs in the neutral category! :P
But the card is so gorgeous - love the shades and haphazardness of the background, and the clean die cuts make the design so clean and charming! Love it!
