Birthday pinwheel.

Hi everyone, I've been doing so much driving lately that the craft room has been neglected!
I'm off to Brisbane this morning too, about 3 hours each way for a 15 minute doctors appointment!
Luckily he's a great doctor and worth the trip.

Lack of time meant I thought I'd try and CASE some of my own cards. I made one like this years ago when I first got this Stampin Up pinwheel die.

I've tweaked it a little bit and was  hoping to play along with the patterned paper challenge
at Seize the birthday, but you need 2 papers and I'v only used 1, so I'm linking up to their anything goes option.

I'm also playing along at Scrapbook Boutique where there is this gorgeous mood board for inspiration. As well as the pastels there's a pop of blue and red in the top left pic that caught my eye and I was inspired by all of the circles.

The coloured letters were cut from scraps of coloured card, so I'm off to the snippets playground at
Pixie's Crafty Workshop. I've been absent for a while and have missed lots of fun!

Supplies:
Stampin Up pinwheel die; Cuttlebug tiny bubbles embossing folder; sentiment stickes; brad, patterned paper and scraps of bazzil from my stash.

Thanks for visiting, I'm off to have coffee and get ready for my long drive.

Oh Cathy, how cute this is. I love that pinwheel die and the cute polka dots. The letters in different colors make the card look so happy and fun. Whew, that is a long trip for a quick visit! It gives you time to think of new card designs as you drive!

What a lovely card Cathy - great pinwheel and the different coloured letters are a super touch (one to note here). Fabulous use of little snippets :)

Do take care with those long drives, I used to do a five hour drive twice in a weekend and, especially on your own, it's very tiring. By the time I recovered it was the next weekend and time to do it all over again!

Lovely to see you in the Playground as well.

Hugs

Di xx

What a great idea to CASE your own card. A great time saver and a good way to use your stamps again. I am always on to the newest stamp and forget for older one. Thanks for joining us in the fun at Seize the Birthday.
