Stencilling for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and it's Shirley's turn to host some stencilling fun!

Or join in with anything goes as long as it's a birthday card.

There are some fabulous ideas to inspire you over on the blog thanks to our party guests Leslie and Claire and my team mates.

I had a lot of fun making this card.
Think I was feeling a very hungry caterpillar vibe lol!

The caterpillars are coloured with Inktense pencils and the clouds stencilled with distress ink.
The sentiment is diecut from a rainbow inked piece of card and clear heat embossed for some shine.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Allsorts, stencils or masks

Alphabet Challenge, choose a letter and matching theme
C for caterpillars!

Supplies:
MFT cloud stencil; Hero Arts bug you stamp & die; Pinkfresh Studio leafy branch die; Paper Rose happy birthday chunky layered die; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; distress inks and Inktense pencils; versafine ink & clear ep.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

What a stunning birthday card! Everyone uses a butterfly, but I love how you have celebrated the caterpillars. They are adorable and I wonder where that branch will take them.

I love your cute caterpillars on the leafy branch Cathy and a wonderful cloud filled blue sky in the background, and a great idea to make a rainbow of colours on some card to cut the sentiment from which looks wonderfully shiny clear heat embossed..a fun and pretty card. x

Those caterpillars are so cute inching along that branch. A lovely sky you stenciled behind them, but I think the star of your card is that lovely rainbow sentiment, love it.

Oh, this card is delightful, Cathy! Love those caterpillars marching across to chomp on the leaves, and I especially love that glossy sentiment.

This is very fun! Love the glossy rainbow sentiment. And inch worms are a great idea...whether you're a toddler or octogenarian we all seem to inch along in life.
