Stitched Up

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Barb has chosen real or faux stitching as the theme.

Our party guest and my team mates have some wonderful inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.

If stitching isn't your thing then play along with the anything goes birthday theme and build up your stash of birthday cards.

I recently acquired some retired Stampin Up goodies and this quilt builder framelit and the embossing folder were amongst them.

I would love to get into quilting some day, but this is as close as I'll get for now!

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, lots of layers

Aud Sentiments Challenge, birthday sentiment

Supplies:
Stampin Up quilt builder framelit and tufted embossing folder; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; Happy Little Stampers sentiment stamp; versafine clair nocturne ink & clear ep; Craft Consortium designer paper pads.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Such a beautiful card! And how fun that you doubled up on the stitched theme with a quilt motif.

So pretty Cathy and lots of faux stitching here with the patchwork shapes and the embossed quilted look to the background also die cut with a stitched rectangle. A super card. x

What a great direction to go with the topping. The quilting colors are so pretty and the EF was a smart choice too! Awesome job! Take care!

Cathy, this is beautiful, your colors are so soft and warm, I can see this piece stitched on a quilt, so when the time comes, remember this card!
