Photo Paper Feathers

Hi everyone, I made up some more backgrounds with glossy photo paper and distress oxide inks.
I love this technique as you never know what you're going to end up with.

I put oxide ink on my craft mat, spritzed with water then smooshed the glossy photo paper into it. When it's dry, use a baby wipe or a damp cloth to remove the chalky residue.

I wanted to play along with a few challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday bright cheerful colours.

Dies R Us, anything goes. The feather die is from Hero Arts.

Hero Arts layering feather die; distress oxide inks; glossy photo paper; Darice crackle embossing folder; Paper Smooches sentiment sampler stamp; versafine ink & clear ep.

Thanks for visiting,

Ooh you always get pretty smooshed backgrounds... I get a pretty smooshed mess! These feathers look lovely and lend themselves to a masculine card too x

Beautiful feathers, Cathy! I agree that the reveal after wiping with the baby wipe is always a surprise, but a good one! The colours are bright and happy! Great card design with the black framing and textured background! xx
