Oh Christmas Tree!

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at CAS Christmas and Colleen has chosen Christmas trees as the theme.

Christmas is creeping slowly closer, so why not play along and get your cards started now? The design team and our guest designer Steph  have some wonderful inspiration for you.

I've had this tree stamp for ages, bought it at a craft show in Brisbane with my sister. (Boy that feels like a lifetime ago lol!)

I stamped it using Versafine Clair Shady Lane green and embossed it with a new to me embossing powder, Lindys angel wings peacock. I love the metallic shimmer it has.

The sentiment is a retired Stampin Up one, stamped in Versafine nocturne and embossed with rose gold powder. I added some rouge perfect pearls on the berries.

I managed to take both of these stamps off their wooden blocks and used my misti for stamping. It streamlined the process having everthing lined up. Might make this my design for this Christmas!

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Merry Little Christmas Challenge, anything goes.

SPREAD THE MERRY LITTLE LOVE AND GRAB A BADGE!

Time Out

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, stamp it in September.

Supplies:

Stamps: Hero Arts branch & flourish tree, Stampin Up four the holidays.

Other: Versaine Clair shady lane & nocturne ink; Lindy's Stamp Gang angel wings peacock & Wow rose gold embossing powders; Crafts 4 U stitched rectancle die; Perfect Pearls.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

This is beautiful. The shine is gorgeous and the little red berries decorate it wonderfully. I don't know how I stamped before the Misti.

What a gorgeous tree Cathy and I thought it was foiled as it is so bright and shiny, but no surprise that it is in fact a Lindy's EP and the Rose Gold EP looks great on the sentiment and love the Perfect Pearls on the berries. Such an elegant and beautiful card. x
