Frantage butterfly experiment!

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a relaxing Easter break.

I wanted to make a thank you card for a girl I've never even met!
She works at a chemist over an hours drive from me and was so helpful when I spoke to her on the phone. She deserves an award for outstanding customer service!
(This card will have to do instead!)

I've been playing with some new toys, a tag die and frantage.
I cut the tag on a fold so that it could open up as a card. The butterfly top is diecut from a recycled envelope box as I thought I needed to use chipboard rather than cardstock for embossing with the enamel.
I wasn't sure what colour taupe was when I bought the frantage, but I love it! I also love the font in this HLS sentiment and the smokey grey ink looks like taupe!

I'm linking up to the challenge at Scrapbook Boutique where they have this fabulous mood board for inspiration. I was inspired by the cutwork on the chair, and the rustic textures.

Enter Our Challenge - starts 10th each month

At Addicted to Stamps & More it's anything goes.

At Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge the theme is to use a butterly + Margins with the optional colour mint. My lacy border fits as the margin.

Supplies:
Elizabeth Crafts Tags & More #1 Lace die; Memory Box Oriel & Lunette butterfly dies; vellum; distress inks; Happy Little Stampers Thinking of you set sentiment stamp; Versafine smokey grey ink & clear ep; versamark ink & aged taupe frantage; Kaisercraft latte bling.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Beautiful card and thought that went into it! I love how you picked up the fretwork on the chair to inspire you with this card - you have made a wonderful job of the enamelling! I don't even know what 'frontage' is, but will now look into it - thanks for your inspiration too:) Great to have you join us at Scrapbook Boutique this month!

Another lovely project, and I enjoyed reading about your recycled butterfly. He sure is pretty here, and I love your frontage effect. I've yet to get that to turn out well. Your thoughtfulness to someone who helped you, will be appreciated - especially when she opens this pretty Thank you. TFS
