Hi, I've used a new die that I was coveting for quite a while! Susan's Garden/ Sizzix Mini Daisy.
I knew it would be small but I didn't realize how small! It was very fiddly to create...lucky I like fiddly LOL!!
I improvised with the tools and chalks that I had. I am thinking that the tool set that Susan uses might just be worth it though. I use a mouse pad and a stylus and I have some good tweezers, but the veining tool looks interesting and the leaf mat might make a difference too.... hmm.
I'm going to link up to a few challenges.
At Addicted to Stamps & More, the theme is Anything Goes, always lots of fun!
At Cuttlebug Mania, the theme is Back to Nature. You also need to use a manual die cutting machine like a Big Shot, ( I have a Cuttlebug). I'm using my daisy diecut as my nature element.
At Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, the theme is Stamping All Stars, to use your favourite product.
I love distress inks, die cuts and I equally love embossing folders. So that's what I've used for this entry. I also love sentiment stickers and bling!!
I cut my daisy petals and my leaves from snippety scraps, so I'm visiting the playground again at Pixie's Crafty Playground. I heard there's going to be a soccer match coming up, might be fun!!
Materials used: Sizzix Mini Daisy die; Mpress nesting die; Entangle embossing folder; Martha Stewart Branch punch for some extra greenery; distress ink; decorating chalks; sentiment sticker coloured with black copic; liquid pearls covered with flower soft; bling from stash.
Thanks for visiting :)

Fabulous Cathy! I went to look at the daisy details online - and then had to lie down for a while. You sure do have bucket loads of patience, but so worth it with such a gorgeous result. Love this card!
Hugs, Di xx
Beautiful card, Cathy! Lovely daisy and embossed background. Have a lovely weekend. Sue x
I have this die too... super love what you created. It is so tiny that I went to exchange it but instead came back with buying the bigger die... I do hope that I use the small and big die one day... thanks for the inspiration. Your daisy is cute.
Hi Cathy, great to see you entering our challenge every week and what a fab card this week. I admire you being able to deal with this die cut. I am not so patient!
Thanks for joining us at ATSM
It may have been fiddly, but it's adorable! Love the sponged label on the white too!
Beautiful Cathy and so worth the effort. Thanks for playing along at Cuttlebug Mania this week x
Nice one - that daisy does look pretty... Mxx
This is a stunning card! I am always amazed at how clever people like you can make white look so alive! I'm a color-maniac who is too chicken to use white much, but when I see beautiful creations like this, it makes me want to try using white more often! Really nice job and everything about this screams CLASSY! Thank you for inspiring me and for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
another beauty :)
Cathy, this is so lovely. Great job on your daisy too. I have a couple of those Susan's dies, but not used yet. I am a bit fumble fingers with making flowers. Glad you mentioned this one was a bit fiddly. I got the tool set at our local Hobby Lobby with a coupon. I tried out the veining tool, works fine, but I think you can do the same effect with an embosser fine point tool. (Not sure what these things are called exactly. There's a ball tip at each end, in diff sizes). I really like this entangle folder too. Not seen this one before. So pretty with your diecut sentiment. Beautiful card. TFS
What a gorgeous embossing folder and that daisy is so cute!!
Thank you for joining us at Cuttlebug Mania!
