Birthday Stars!, a photo by cathroff on Flickr.
Hi, I can't believe I've made 2 cards in 1 day!! At least the washing is pegged out. Sadly, the rest of the housework is being neglected!

I cut these stars out using my MFT country charms die, and glued 2 of each together to make them sturdy enough to thread the ribbon through. The silk ribbon is gorgeous to touch, a friend cleaned out her embroidery scraps :)
Materials used: stars embossing folder; MFT country charms die; silk ribbon.; foam dots; sentiment sticker from stash.
Thanks for looking :)

I love your card Cathy. Did you die the ribbon yourself? It's fab! Helen ;-)
Striking card! Love the embossed background with the wonderful colored stars on top! Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. Hugs, Sandra
Hi Helen, the ribbon was that colour. A friend gave me her embroidery scraps that she got from a place called Colour Streams, they hand dye their products :)
Hi Cathy
Yep .. .. housework and card making don't sit very comfortably together do they. Housework can never win LOL!!!
Great card. All those stars look amazing.
Love Jules xx
Hi Cathy, Jumped over to see you from Darnell's blog, and am liking what I saw. Lovely cards...very bright & cheery this last one. So pretty. I joined as a follower, and if/when you have the time, I invite you to visit me if you like. Always fun to make a new friend, learn about your part of the world.
