Red Birthday Rose

Hi, this is my entry in this week's CASology challenge, where the cue word is red.
Red Birthday Rose by cathroff
Red Birthday Rose, a photo by cathroff on Flickr.
I used tombows to colour the rose and layered a section to give some dimension.

The DT have some fabulous projects for inspiration!
Materials used: Stampin up rose (belongs to my sister so I'm not sure of it's name); Memory Box leaves die; Stampin up embossing folder; tombows and sentiment sticker from stash.
Thanks for looking :)

Cathy, what a stunning red rose! It just pops agaist the white background, and the embossed frame is gorgeous! Amazing coloring and shading on the rose, too. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week!
