Hi everyone, I hope you had a happy festive season and that 2026 is a good year for you.
It's our first challenge for 2026 and Barbara has asked us to make our own snowflake background.
Snow is wishful thinking for me as we've been having lots of heatwaves! I do love snowflakes though and this gave me a chance to play with some rarely used dies!
or play along with our anything goes birthday theme.
My team mates and our party guests Helen and Stephanie have some wonderful inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.
I had this inka gold smooshed background in my stash and decided to decorate it with white snowflakes. They are double layered for dimension. The sentiment and tiny snowflakes are diecut from silver card, although it looks white in the pic. Here's a closer look at the shimmer and shine from the inka gold paste.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Supplies:
Dies: Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle; MFT stylish snowflakes; Poppystamps happy birthday poe script.
Other: inka gold paste.
Thanks for visiting and have a great week,
Cathy x

What a lovely shimmery snowflake themed card in a nontraditional background color, Cathy! It sure does shimmer and shine with the gold paste and silver die cut snowflakes! Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational: Shine/Shiny! Julia xx
