Hi everyone, I was asked to make an Australian themed Christmas card recently.
I hadn't used this kangaroo die before and thought the silhouette would suit a desert night sky background.
I used similar colours in this card and changed the orientation.
The sentiment and star are diecut from metallic silver and shimmer card, and the stars are a spattering of Finetec silver watercolour paint.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Tic Tac Toe, I chose the diagonal navy/free/holiday sentiment
Unicorn Challenge, Christmas or Winter
Supplies:
Dies: Paper Rose kangaroo; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle; Creative Expressions sentiment; Memory Box star of wonder.
Other: distress inks; Finetec silver paint; Darkroom Door small rectangle stencil.
Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great week,
Cathy x

I love your silhouette 'Roo' Cathy, and the desert type background with that wonderful blue sky full of stars looks great, and I love the finishing touch of the silver star and greeting which go perfectly..certainly has Aussie charm. x
Such a great card and I love the kangaroo silhouette. I love the addition of the metallic for the star and greeting. The splatters are perfect to represent the bright night stars in the outback. So glad you shared this with us at Addicted to CAS this week
