Hi everyone, time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Vicki wants us to create with flowers.
Or play along with our anything goes birthday option, it's a great way to build up your stash!
Our party guest and my team mates have lots of inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.
I have had this flower stamp for ages, although haven't used it much, and just recently bought the matching die as I thought it would make it easier to use.
It's more forgiving to stamp on something other than the base card, especially if you can cut out any oopsies!!
I stamped and embossed in gold ep on watercolour paper and coloured with my zig pens, before diecutting part of the flowers.
The base card is hammered so it sort of has texture like watercolour paper.
The sentiment is diecut from black mirror card and layered up for dimension.

These flowers are so pretty coloured with your zig pens and enhanced beautifully by the gold embossing Cathy, and the die cut sentiment is so shiny using the black mirror card, and also the black base card gives great contrast...a wonderful card. x

This flower card is a real eye catcher. The gold accents and the shiny black sentiment is what does it. The colors and the hammered paper all go together so well. Makes for a lovely creation.

I would have never noticed that you die cut part of this card, Cathy. I have oodles of Zigs that are in a drawer. Perhaps I will try my hand at coloring again. Thanks for the push and gorgeous inspiration.
