My team mates and our party guests have some wonderful cards to inspire you, so I hope you can play along.
I've made a few cards with this impresslit die and wax pastes but wanted something a bit more masculine looking for hubby's birthday. Yep, a masculine butterfly card, starting to look like a moth maybe?!
I diecut the butterfly from black card and rubbed on some art alchemy wax pastes.
I love how detailed the embossing is. I've also embossed the background and used wet embossing on the diecut birthday sentiment, using versamark ink and Lindy's midnight bronze powder.

Fabulous card, Cathy! You’ve really showcased embossing, but it is your challenge, after all! I love the butterfly, and the bronze birthday.
The wax pastes really make it shine - the butterfly looks absolutely spectacular! I love the subtle crackle embossing in the background. What an awesome card!
