Hi everyone, I was delighted to be asked to guest design at Try it on Tuesday where the theme this time around is Fantasy.
Thankyou so much to the team for inviting me along!
These are Lavinia stamps that I have had for ages but never used.
The background was a mix of dusty concord, chipped sapphire and uncharted mariner oxide inks.
My blending was a bit heavy handed so I flicked on lots of water! (Bit heavy handed there too!)
I also added a few Finetec silver and white gloss spatters.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Mix It Up Challenge, playing along with the optional make your own background.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, anything goes
Supplies:
Lavinia Mideela small and believe in magic stamps and circle mask; Versafine clair nocturne ink & clear ep; oxide inks - dusty concord, uncharted mariner, chipped sapphire; flicks of Finetec silver paint and white gloss spray; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Heavy handed or not, I love the background you made. This is a perfect G.D. card and great for the fantasy theme.
Love all of these dragon stamps Cathy - the embossing makes him pop off the page and your background is lush! Lovely to have you as out Guest DT this time round at TIOT! x
PS - In my opinion you can never have enough splatters - water or otherwise! x

I love your fantastical dragon Cathy and the dark sky background with the moon and the halo of wilted violet looks great, and the water spattering and words finish it beautifully. x
