Autumn coloured brushos

 

Hi everyone, been making some backgrounds with brushos and thought this one would suit an autumn tree.

I'm always amazed at the colours that come out of the browns!

I layered the diecut up for some dimension.

Halloween colours for Seize the Birthday

 

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Vicki has chosen Halloween colours as the theme.

Of course, you can always play along with our anything goes birthday option too!

Our guest and my team mates have some wonderful cards to inspire you, so hope you can join us in the gallery.

We don't celebrate Halloween much here, so I thought I'd just go with purple orange and green for some florals!

I diecut the floral spray from some designer paper and layered it up for dimension.

The sparkly green is a new toy - one of the new Halloween mica sprays! Love the shimmer, (which looks better in real life.) Added some stickles to the orange centres for more sparkle.

Faces, human or animal, for Seize the Birthday

I was inspired by a CAS version of this card that I saw somewhere on the internet (pinterest I think) and wanted to CASE it. I've added the embossed background, the pots of flowers and put the blind behind the window.

Sizzix brick embossing folder; Memory Box window die; cat and blind die from Wish; Flowers and pots from The Greetery; distress inks; sentiment sticker.
