Nautical Birthday

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Lindsey has chosen a nautical theme.

If nautical isn't you then anything goes birthday is fine too!
The design team and our party guest Melanie have loads of inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.

I thought this retired map stamp from Stampin Up would fit the theme as you need maps to navigate at sea!
It's stamped in versafine clair nocturne ink, clear embossed , the sprayed with antique linen and old paper distress stains. The edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and inked with frayed burlap distress ink.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

The Male Room, Dads and Grandads

Supplies:
Stampin Up world map: versafine clair nocturne ink & clear ep; distress spray stains & ink; Mama Elephant scripty birthday die; happy sticker.

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

That is a great stamp with that wonderful map and love the vintage look using the distress stains and finished beautifully with the black shiny die cut sentiment. A brilliant card Cathy. x

At first glance I thought that this was patterned paper so it's even more impressive it's a stamp you've aged... Great masculine card x

Ah! I didn't think it was a stamp - I was so sure it was pattern paper! Definitely one of the stamps that qualifies for an all time favorite - I love how it looks vintage like and how you've used it so so well in your card, Cathy! Awesome!!
