Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at CAS Stencil and Viv has chosen heat embossing as the theme. There are some video tutorials on the blog to help if this is a new technique for you, and the design team has lots of ideas for inspiration!
I placed this stencil by Funky Fossil on my card stock then used a small versamark inkpad to ink through it. Next I sprinkled on some Wow perissa embossing powder on, tapped off the excess and used a heat gun to heat it up.
I hadn't used this powder before, love the coppery colour and it's a bit texturey like frantage. There are some other colours in there too, silver and gold.

This crazy bird was stamped and clear embossed on watercolour paper, fussy cut and coloured with Inktense pencils.
The sentiment is a new one, for me anyway. There are some really cheeky ones in the set!

Funky Fossil stencil; versamark ink and Wow perissa embossing powder; Tim Holtz bird crazy and Clearly Besotted laugh out loud again stamps; versafine ink and clear embossing powder; Inktense pencils; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die.
