Hi everyone, I need a few quick birthday cards so fell back on a design I've used before, but with a new to me frantage embossing enamel, copper! Love the patina.
Here's a closer look.
The butterfly was inked with versamark then sprinkled with the embossing enamel.
You never know how the colouring will come out as it bubbles and melts with the heat gun.
I diecut the base butterfly from vellum and white card. The vellum gives a softer look.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Monday, add something metallic. I hope the copper embossing is ok.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, where the team are celebrating their 10th birthday with a birthday theme! Congratulations!
Outside the Box, embossing extravaganza.
I've used wet and dry embossing and 2 Memory Box dies-Lunette and Oriel butterflies.
Mix it Up Challenge Blog, where I've gone with anything goes.
Supplies:
Memory Box Lunette & Oriel butterfly dies: Ultimate Crafts mosaic constellations ef; Stampendous aged copper frantage embossing enamel; versamark ink; vellum; sentiment sticker.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

This butterfly is so beautiful. I think frantage enhances your butterfly so much.
I like the frantage copper patina effect, gives a lovely finish softened by the use of vellum, very pretty x
Beautiful butterfly Cathy. Confess to not owning any frantage... but I might have to go get some now!
