Diecut blossoms.

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a great weekend.
It's getting late here and I'm hoping to link up to a few challenges before they close, see how I go!

At Darnell'sTwofer Card Challenge the theme is blossoms.
You need to use the same stamp or diecut for 2 different occasions, I've used Memory Box lovely peony outline die.

The blue one is really purple in real life! It was a brushos background that I spritzed with perfect pearls. I scrunched some glad wrap on top too and let it dry, although it didn't leave much of a pattern. Here's a closer look.

I'm also linking this card to the anything goes theme at The Flower Challenge

and to the flower frenzy challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday

At Seize the Birthday, I've gone with the anything goes option.

And, at Addicted to Stamps & More, it's a clean and simple theme.

Here's a look at the second card.

I've cut the peony base and the flourishes from white shimmer card, and the outline from silver shimmer paper.

I'd better get these linked as the clock is ticking lol!
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Delicious, Cathy! The purply-blue with the dramatic black puts me in mind of a stained glass window ... it's fabulous! What an elegant wedding card ... the silver peony with the white on white flourishes is beautiful! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

WOW! This is an amazing post to show how brilliant designs can be whether they are bold and brightly colored or left entirely in white! I just think the contrast is incredible, Cathy, and you've chosen wonderful occasions for your different designs! Stunning peonies both ways! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #3! Hugs, Darnell

Both are so very lovely and well designed. Your purple version is a fantastic birthday card. But what really gave me the "wow" factor is that wonderful wedding card. That is so elegant. Thanks for joining the Twofer Challenge #3.

Your cards are gorgeous, Cathy! The black outlines on that deep blue looks so striking and the same die in silver on white brings out the delicate side of it! Absolutely love them both!
Thank you for joining us at the Twofer!

Both beautiful cards Cathy. Purple is the hardest colour to get photographed right. Love the result you got with the brisho's and perfect pearl mix. I bet it is stunning IRL. Nice choice of card stock to back it with adding lovely texture.
The second card is just stunning. White on white is perfect with the silver. Beautiful.

Cathy I love how you have used this flower die. I have it and would never have thought to do as you have done with the one and a half in the frame. Stunning. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge and we hope to see you there again soon. Aileen DesignTeam
