Hi, I was trying to create some earthy colours from the alcohol inks that I have, but it wasn't meant to be LOL! I guess I'll just have to add more colours to my wish list.
I had some left over pieces of metal sheet from a previous project and managed to fit these flower dies onto them. I've got some smaller pieces left and have a plan for those also. My snippets pile grows ever larger!
The leafy stems and butterflies are also die cut from scraps of shimmer paper. I'm afraid that the scraps went back into the snippets box as I might get one or two more tiny die cuts or punched flowers from them!
All these snippets mean I can visit the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
I'm also linking up again to Virginia's View Challenge, where the theme is to use a die cut.
Materials used:
Memory Box fancy blossom, curvy stem and butterfly delights dies; Alcohol inks;Lifestyle Crafts metal sheet; shimmer paper; sentiment sticker and bling.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

Beautiful card! I love to hear about snippets (scraps) being used - it challenges me to get after my stash and do the same. TFS
The metal flowers look absolutely gorgeous! I know just what you mean about the snippets box - no matter how many I use it seems to get bigger!
Your metal flowers are beautiful Cathy ... love the shades of blue, green and pink! xx
I like the pretty hues of these metal flowers. I have a box of tiny snippets just for using up on really small punches . Nothing gets wasted here!! Hugs Mrs a.

Love it! You're not the only one with the snippet pile growing Cathy. Just as I finish with some older snippets I make new ones for whatever I want to work on next! Love this, the colours and shine are wonderful Karen xx
Stunning Cathy - especially when you click on the image and those fabulous flowers in such glorious colours almost pop out of the screen!
I know what you mean about the snippets pile growing - secretly I think they breed in the night!
Sorry I'm a bit late commenting, playing catch up here!
Hugs, Di xx
Saw this at the Snippets Playground and without even seeing the name, I KNEW it was you! Your signature style and so very beautiful. Loved the way you've colored the metal bits and even more in awe of slipping the pieces into the die shapes. That is not easy with tiny pieces. Congrats on being deservedly highlighted at Pixie's. This is so great. TFS & Hugs
