Hi, I've been doing a lot of fussy cutting lately and this large Hero Arts flower was a perfect candidate!
I also cut the stamped stem off and coloured a snippet of card green as I needed it to be longer.
It was one of the strips from my paper trimmer from me trying repeatedly to get something straight! I'm becoming obsessed by it...the more I trim something the crookeder it looks...maybe I need to replace the blade LOL!
I curled the petals and popped a second centre up on some foam dots for dimension.
Snippets means I can visit the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
At A Blog Named Hero the theme is flowers.
Cuttlebug Mania is hosting a colour challenge, red. You also need to use a manual machine like a Big Shot. I used the Entangled embossing folder for my background in my Cuttlebug.
The Hero Arts Blog has a birthday challenge with 5 categories for entries. I'm entering the Floral one with this tag card.
Supplies: Hero Arts Engraved Daisy stamp; inktense pencils; stickles; Entangled embossing folder; tag, sentiment sticker and ribbon from stash.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your week :)

stunning colours Cathy - this looks wonderful xx
I admire your patience in all the cutting. It is gorgeous as is the black and white wedding heart card. I couldn't get computer to post yesterday but I love both of these cards.
Really striking Cathy - that flower is stunning! I have a trimmer that likes to cut curves too :) Glad you won in the end though.
Hugs, Di xx

This is some fussy cutting! What a beautiful job you did with this, and I love the pop of red against that black. These cutters can be so aggravating. I love my Genesis (but it took me a while to justify the cost of it!) but I got so frustrated with the Fiskars ones. Even new blades didn't help me...I had the same problem you're describing. Worked fine though for your flower stem. Good for you in saving the snippets. TFS & Hugs
Oh, wow, I love your very ginormous and dimensional daisy, Cathy! Popping up the center was a genius idea!! Hugs, Darnell
Picture perfect and so very lovely! This is exactly what a card should look like! Love your fussy cutting on that image too! Fantastic.
