Banner line

Hi again, I wanted to play along with the challenge at Addicted to CAS where it's a banner theme.

I used a free punch I got with an order from Stampin Up and cut up a scrap leftover from a Brushos experiment (have lots of those!)
I also punched out some
black banners and glued them to the yellow ones to show a black edge. I glued a strip of black card to the base to line them up against.

They look a bit uneven in the pic as I raised them on foam dots for some dimension, (they don't look as wonky IRL!)

I'm also linking up to the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday where the theme is  to make a plan.

I had these banners in a heap of other layouts before settling on this one. They were staggered, had a solid black layer under them just to mention a few. So I guess I'm linking to the theme by changing my plan!

  2. It's great to be able to use up scraps and snippets to make a fun card like this one. It doesn't look wonky but I know what you mean. Sometimes the camera distorts the card.

  3. What a great idea to arrange the banner punched pieces in the line going down your card. Lovely card. xx
