WWC #332 - Tristan's Challenge : All Things Feminine

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Watercooler Wednesday and Tristan is hosting an all things feminine theme.

I'm slowly getting back into card making and am looking for quick and easy cards to make!
I found this green and gold background in my stash, made by mixing Inka gold paste with water on a plastic mat and smooshing some cardstock into it.
I freshened it up by splashing on a bit more watery gold in the flower area.

The flower and sentiment diecuts are double layered for dimension and the shimmer is lovely in real life.
Here's a closer look.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Two of my favourite colours are green and gold. Hope it's ok using the black and white too.

Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge

I've gone with a new product. First time I've used my new happy birthday die
Time Out, also has a new theme, so my new sentiment die fits the bill here too.

Supplies:
Dies: Paper Rose blooming flowers background; Creative Expressions stacked happy birthday
Other: Inka Gold pastes in jade and gold

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

  1. Cathy, I came by to see what you've been up to and am so happy I did!
I can't see why this couldn't be recreated to fit into the monochromatic challenge - wink! SO gorgeous - you may have inspired my reminder card!

  2. Oh wow, what a stunning background that made. I just played with my Inka Gold yesterday. It is completely hardened and I had to dig it out, mix with water and then smoosh on my mat. Adding it to the green cardstock is a great idea and the shine is lovely.

  5. Wow, you can see that gold sparkle which looks beautiful using the two colours of Inca Gold with water over the card Cathy, and the double layered floral frame is so pretty and a great contrast in white, and more contrast with the black sentiment too...really eyecatching! x
