Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at CAS Christmas and Christine has chosen the theme of foliage and berries.
Our guest this month is Robyn and she and the design team have some wonderful cards to inspire you, so I hope to see you in the gallery.
This new die arrived last week, just in time for the challenge! It's a 3D embossing folder and die all in one.
I cut the holly from black card stock then rubbed on some antique brilliance wax in lucky emerald. I used fire ruby for the berries. I also added some gold metallic rub on paint to get more definition on the veins.
It looks better in real life, here's a closer look ot the shimmer.
The Christmas diecut was inked with versamark and embossed with Lindy's midnight gold powder.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, anything goes.
(I've done a little bit of layering)
Supplies:
Dies: Sizzix 3D holly impresslit; Simon Says Stamp Merry Christmas; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle; Spellbinders circle;
Other: Art Alchemy Antique Brilliance waxes in lucky emerald and fire ruby: Jim Allred Supply metallic rub on paint; versamark ink & Lindy's midnight gold ep; sentiment sticker.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
