Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Ashwini wants to see us use vellum or acetate on our birthday cards for this fortnight.
Or play along with our anything goes birthday option.
Our party guests Kathy and Kerry, along with my team mates have some great ideas to inspire you, so I hope you can join us in the gallery.
I've had these goodies in my stash for ages and since I'm trying to use everything (at least once!!) I thought I'd try acetate in the glasses.
Here's a closer look. I cut a piece of acetate to fit the larger frames.
The frames are dicut from metallic card and the birthday diecut from glossy black card, layered up for dimension.
I masked a Penny Black stamp for the word spectacular and used a tiny Lawn Fawn sentiment as well.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Aud Sentiments, playing along with the birthdays option
Supplies: Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle and birthday girl dies; unknown brand glasses dies; Penny Black perspective stamp; Lawn Fawn reveal wheel holiday sentiments stamp; verafine clair inks & clear ep; metallic cardstock. Thanks for visiting and have a great week,
Cathy x
