Green as the Main Colour for Seize the Birthday

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and JoAnn wants us to use green.

Or play along with our anything goes birthday option.

Our party guests and my team mates have some wonderful inspiration for you so I hope to see you in the gallery.
I may have gone a bit overboard with green here between inking and the card base!
The stamp is one I have had for many years and thought I'd ink up again, Penny Black's dreamy.
I love the wispy look of the flower.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday, a bit of green.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, also a bit of green.
The Neglected Stuff Challenge, my Penny Black Dreamy stamp

Supplies:
Penny Black dreamy stamp; versafine clair nocturne ink & clear ep; various green oxide inks; sentiment sticker.

Thanks for visiting, and have a great week

  5. Definitely not overboard! Your shaded background is wonderful and the choice of image is perfect. Such a lovely card.

  6. This is beautiful, Cathy! That softly blended background is very calming, and I love the PB flower. And the white mat breaks up the green perfectly.
