Hi everyone, time for some more fun at Seize the Birthday and Jenny wants us to make a milestone birthday card.
I was asked to make a larger size card for a special birthday. The recipient loved roses and the colour pink.
The rose and 80 were diecut from some cardstock smooshed into some pink watered down inka gold paste.
The other sentiments are diecut from gold glitter cardstock, lots of sparkle in real life!
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Allsorts, feminine
Supplies:
Dies: Penny Black decorative rose: Memory Box poe script happy birthday; Impression Obsession upper case alphabet; Memory Box parker numbers and matinee layers.
Other: inka gold paste in pinks; gold glitter card; green distress ink.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

ReplyDeleteThis is an impressive milestone birthday card. It is pleasing to look at the exquisite too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card with the PB rose! I haven't seen this die before. Your letters and numbers are so precisely arranged and aligned, looking as though they're all part of the same set. Beautifully crafted and photographed!
ReplyDeleteCathy, your pretty smooshed rose is so lovely on your card. Love how you designed it around the sentiment. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis card has an Art Deco feel to it Cathy with the shaped mat and rose in the style of Rennie Macintosh, and the added rectangular bright pink mat really pops. I love the way you have used the diluted pink Inka Gold paste to colour the flower and number and then used the gold glitter card for the rest of the die cut sentiment..a great 80th birthday card. x
