Hi everyone, as soon as I saw this die I had disco flashbacks lol!
Helped along by the super talented Trina from Phamtastic Designs card here. Thanks for the inspiration Trina.
I thought I'd pair my crew with a colourful floral stencil to add to the groove. Might have my 60's mixed up with my seventies here!!
I used oxide inks for the stencilling and layered up the dancers and top sentiment for dimension.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
My Time To Craft, 123 recipe
I've used 1 stencil, 2 sentiments and 3 dancers.
Waffle Flower daisy background stencil; oxide inks; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; Whimsy Stamps retro dancers die; Waffle Flower party banners die; white shimmer card; birthday sentiment sticker.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
Absolutely love your groovy card Cathy! The rainbow background looks stunning x
ReplyDeleteThat is such a groovy card and yes so Disco like - took me back 50 years - thanks for sharing with us at ATSM
ReplyDeleteThat birthday card just screams festive and party, Cathy! I love it! I'm more rock and roll than disco, but those girls would work for any age and genre! I love the rainbow daisy background and, of course, the schparkle on the banner! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh, I remember the disco days! How fun and groovy is your card!
ReplyDeleteI think this is great with the colourful background using the daisy stencil Cathy and with the groovy chicks over the top...I think the affro hair and bell bottoms are definitely more seventies than sixties. x
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun card and makes me want to dance!! Beautiful stencilling. Thanks for joining in with our 1st birthday celebrations at AAA Colourful. X
