Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Barbara has chosen a masculine theme for this fortnight.
Our party guest Claire along with my team mates have some great inspiration for you so I hope you can play along.
I still have my old typewriter, although it's rarely used these days.
I love how detailed this die set is with the cute little sentiments!
I diecut it from scraps of black, blue and white card and coloured the silver parts with a jelly pen.
The background is embossed with Stampin Up's time worn type, and the sentiment was cut from black, inked with versamark and clear embossed.
The blue mat is a brushos scrap. So I've used up a bit from my scrap basket with this card!
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, anything goes
Supplies:
Sugarpea Designs just my type stamp and die; Stampin Up time worn type embossing folder; Creative Expressions stacked happy birthday die; silver jelly pen; versamark ink & clear ep; versafine clair nocturne ink.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
What a great masculine card Cathy and I love that vintage typewriter, and a wonderful complementary EF to go with it in the background and a very apt sentiment in the typewriter as well as the lovely die cut 'Happy Birthday'...a brilliant card. x
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card, Cathy. I love the sentiment on the typewriter.
