Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Shirley has chosen a colour theme.
You can always play along with our anything goes birthday theme too.
Our party guests Stef and Karen, along with my team mates have some great inspiration for you, so I hope you get the chance to play along.
I tried to get as close to hot pink and lime with these new to me Catherine Pooler inks, and I thought this 2 layered stencil would make where to lay the colours easy! (I'm feeling like a need a licorice allsort!!)
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Stencil Fun Challenge, playing along without the option of using orange.
Supplies:
Catherine Pooler inks in pucker up and garden party; Simon Hurley geo circles layering stencil; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; Paper Rose happy birthday chunky layered die.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
Super card Cathy, beautiful colour combination. xx

What a great idea to use a stencil and then a big sentiment! I need to remember this with masculine cards!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card! Love the bright color combination. Thanks for sharing at the Double D, "Pink" Challenge.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering when I saw your card how you got the two colors. A two layered stencil did the trick this time. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThis is really striking in pink and lime Cathy and I love the stencil you used, and a great contrast with the white on black die cut sentiment...a beautiful card. x
ReplyDeleteYour stenciled background looks great with the bold greeting! Wonderful card for anyone!
ReplyDeleteLoving the bright colors in this stenciling. The white/black sentiment is perfect.
ReplyDeleteFab way to use the two colours, Cathy! I’m with you on the liquorice allsorts! 😆
ReplyDeleteGreat use of these colors with your Geo stencil and that bold sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great pattern - it looks so great with these colours. The striking sentiment is perfect for this background.
