Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and it was Nancy's turn to choose the theme...repetitive die cuts.
Of course you can always add to your birthday stash with our anything goes birthday option too!
Our party guests Stephanie and Johanna, along with my team mates have some wonderful inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.
I bought this leaf die on sale ages ago and this is it's first outing!
The background is a mop up piece from a play with Lindy's Magical powders. Not a lot of shimmer as I had added lots of water to the leftover puddles of colour!
(I need to get playing again as I'm running out of background pieces!)
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Dragonfly Dreams, Happy Birthday
Supplies:
Sizzix cut out leaves die; Inspired by stamping birthday greetings sentiment stamp; versafine clair nocturne ink & clear up; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; Lindy's magicals.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
Lovely bg colors!
ReplyDeleteI know I have some of those dies in my stash too. You see them, you love them, you must have them, and then you forget about them and don't use them for years. It was a wonderful way to use these dies and you've given me some inspiration.

What a clever way to do the repetition! Love it. The background is so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNot seen those dies Cathy but surely love what you've done with them. Can't beat a good smooch wipe up subtle background.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking on me, praying you're okay up there?
Are you dry too?
May God have mercy upon us and please bless our sad sinful nation with rain... especially for poor farmers and those with fires sufficient rain to put then out.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.X
