3D butterfly - wax pastes and oxide sprays

Hi everyone, I finally managed to buy this butterfly die and used it straight away.
It's been on my wishlist for ages lol!

I diecut it from black card and rubbed on some art alchemy wax pastes.
I added some gilded foundry wax as highlights and heat set it to bring out the shine.
(I added the antennae from a Memory Box butterfly die!)

The tag was sprayed with oxides in dusty concord and salvaged patina with a spritz of spray stain in antique linen. To finish I blended in some vintage photo distress ink around the edge then spattered on some gold watercolour paint.

Here's a closer look at the shine:

The sentiment die was inked with versamark and embossed with Lindy's midnight gold ep.

I'm linking up to these challenges:

Allsorts, playing along with the anything goes option.
