Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and TaeEun has chosen a Spring flowers theme.
There are loads of gorgeous florals by the design team and our guest Linda to inspire you, or you can play along with our anything goes birthday option.
Look forward to seeing you in the gallery!
I tend to use the same dies a lot and decided for a change to dig through my stash for some that hadn't been used in ages.
These flower tops were diecut from a background made with distress and oxide sprays.
(I don't know if it's just me but the picked raspberry spray stain squirts rather than sprays, even with a new spray top on the bottle!)
The ground was inked with oxides and distress inks. I glued the top over another layer to add some dimension.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Supplies:
Dies: Memory Box painted flower stems and Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle.
Sprays: antique linen, picked raspberry and squeezed lemonade stains and milled lavender and tattered rose oxides.
Inks: lucky clover and peeled paint oxides; forest moss and pine needles distress inks;
Other: sentiment sticker.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
