Hi everyone it's time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Vicky has chosen the theme, three shades of green.
Our party guest Carol and the design team have lots of inspiration for you, so I hope you can play along.
Remember, you can always link up anything goes birthday cards too.
I was asked to make a birthday card for a lad who loves tractors.
I had some scraps of glossy green card so thought I'd try for a John Deere lookalike tractor!
I blended some oxide inks in the background, bundled sage, peeled paint and rustic wilderness.
The sentiment was embossed with versamark and black sparkle embossing powder.
Here's a closer look.
I'm linking up to these challenges:
Supplies:
Tractor die (unknown brand); Memory Box Parker numbers die; Simon Says Stamp happy birthday die; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle die; distress oxide ink; versamark ink & Ranger black sparkle embossing powder; happy sticker.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x

ReplyDeleteSpot on for a John Deere tractor I knew it as soon as I saw this. It is so hard to make masculine cards and for the teen years even harder. You got this.

I love the bright green of the background with the wonderful die cut tractor image and number in a complementary green Cathy, and the black extremely shiny stamped and die cut sentiment again coordinating with the tractor wheels brings it all together. This really is a great looking individual card which I'm sure will be really loved by the recipient. x
