Hi everyone, I've been playing with alcohol inks and yupo trying the polished stone technique.
I'm addicted!
14 backgrounds later and I thought I'd try and make a card.
The colours I used were indigo, mermaid and teakwood.
Here's a closer look.
I'm linking up to some challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday, anything goes.
Countryview Challenges, anything goes Christmas
Stamplorations CAS Challenge anything goes CAS without the colour twist.
I've used the ornament 2 die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
Ranger alcohol inks; Crafts 4 U stitched rectangle and Elizabeth Craft Designs ornaments 2 dies;
silver cord; Annabelle Stamps sentiment stamp (retired) versafine clair ink & clear ep.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy x
What a unique and amazing result with the technique. A stunner of a card and you'll have plenty of backgrounds now to use in the future x.
ReplyDeleteWow, so pretty Cathy and if you have made fourteen of these wonderful backgrounds you have a lot of scope for more beautiful cards. I love the CAS look of just the single hanging bauble and love the doubled silver cord over the top of the stitched rectangular mat, and a lovely sentiment to finish. x
ReplyDeletebeautiful.
